Are these cat eyes, spaceships, or something else entirely? What I do know is that they are flashy, while also being comfortable AF. The green & blue Labradorite stones were beautiful on the backs as well, so I left the design open for them to shine through.
I completed the slow process of electroforming these crystal earrings in my small home studio, which gave these luscious crystals sturdy, one of a kind settings. Rapidly oxidized to a deep brown, and slightly buffed to give them an antique, bronzy look. These handmade dangles are minimalist enough to wear easily during the day, but magical enough for a witchy night out!
🍄 Your Labradorite crystal earrings measure approximately: .94" in total length. Stone settings are approx. .56" wide.--they are super lightweight as well.
🍄 Labradorite is the stone of transformation. Always keep evolving.
🍄 These are currently set on niobium ear wires which are good for most sensitive ears. If you prefer steel wires instead, OR silver-plated French hooks for stretched ears, just let me know: crystaljewelryaffair@gmail.com :). French hooks are great for non-stretched ears too.

🍄 HOW IT'S MADE: there are many layers of prep I do before electroforming a handmade piece. Once ready, it sits in my electro-tank for 14–40 hours, depending on its size and copper needs. The copper collects molecule by molecule, creating strength and unique texture.
I rapidly oxidized the metal, then coated it with a very thin layer of jewelry lacquer to help preserve the patina. This coating naturally wears off very slowly over time.
Copper never rusts—when it encounters moisture, it protects itself by creating a living patina. The oxidized layer is surface only; the metal can always be polished if you prefer it to be brighter.
It's fun to add contrast on just the raised edges if it ever dims a little bit down the road. I include a small polishing cloth sample with every order + simple care instructions—like taking off your jewelry before showering or swimming. The cloth WILL take the patina off, so only use if you want to lighten the copper in the future. Let the copper do its thing as it adapts with you on life’s adventures, creating a sacred bond between the two of you.
