Swarovski Rhinestone Hoop Earrings | Handmade Copper Dangles for Valentine's Day

Treat yourself to these Swarovski rhinestone heart dangles--stunning for Valentine's Day and all year round. Through a slow electroforming process, I combined the flashiest little Aurora Borealis-style Swarovski hearts, brass hearts, and tiny pink rhinestones. I rapidly oxidized the copper to provide these with bold contrast.

🍄 Your Valentine earrings measure approximately: 1.94" in total length, and hoops are approx. .94" in width. They are pretty lightweight as well. There are the tiniest scrapes on the brass hearts that I accidentally created while buffing the patina. It's not something you'll notice while wearing, but I had to mention it because my camera didn't pick up on this at all.

🍄 HOW IT'S MADE: there are many layers of prep I do before electroforming a handmade piece. Once ready, it sits in my electro-tank for 14–40 hours, depending on its size and copper needs. The copper collects molecule by molecule, creating strength and unique texture.

I rapidly oxidized the metal, then coated it with a very thin layer of jewelry lacquer to help preserve the patina. This coating naturally wears off over time.
Copper never rusts—when it encounters moisture, it protects itself by creating a living patina. The oxidized layer is surface only; the metal can always be polished if you prefer it brighter. I include a small polishing cloth sample with every order + simple care instructions—like taking off your jewelry before showering or swimming. Let the copper do its thing as it adapts with you on life’s adventures, creating a sacred bond between the two of you. The cloth WILL take the patina off, so only use if you want to lighten the copper.
